[cisco-voip] Session Border Controllers

Someone mentioned using freeswitch as an SBC...what's the process of getting that working with CCM and how difficult is it?

For any case that a pure SBC is needed, IMO, ACME is the way to go.  When was the last time TAC rewrote IOS software the same day you introduced a bug to them?

Is this the case for CUBE, or are you talking about CUBE-SP? Enterprise CUBE is pretty limited, but CUBE-SP -- running on the ASRs -- is a completely different monster and has a tremendous feature set.

Yes, I’ve configured and troubleshot several ACME SBCs.  IMHO, if you need SBC capabilities, ACME has CUBE beat hands down.
