[cisco-voip] Cius Display Port

Why would Cisco choose to use a standard Display Port (DP) on the Cius dock?
Its not even DP++.

It's looking difficult to get a DP to DP cable, active adapters to HDMI or
DVI are expensive too.

Why not use HDMI?

What are peoples thoughts on this?
