The strange thing is that there is an image called Bootable and Upgrade DVD
to 8.6(1a) and when you start its download its name is
Nonbootable_8.6.1.20000-1.iso

Which one should I trust J

It was included when you went to the website to download the pdf there was
also an option to download the iso.

Are you sure?...a friend of mine placed an upgrade order and only received
the license through the email.did you receive a link to download bootable
images?
