[cisco-voip] C200M2 Raid Re-build

I don't believe this will work. The drives are given specific IDs by the
RAID controller. Putting anyone of those drives into a different system
would result in that new system seeing a new drive rather than using it
as an existing drive.

Cheers,

Will do....not too confident though as this is the second replacement
drive. So another question can I remove all the drives out of this
server and place them in another exact model UCS C200M2 server? Both
have default raid configured as shipped from Cisco direct

Cheers

Depending on the RAID type, size, and IO of the array it could take
longer (than 2 hours). I would give it until at least tonight to see if
there is a status change before assuming the worst.

Hey,

Anyone ever replaced a 1TB SAS drive on a UCS C200M2?

CIMC & vSphere shows the status of the drive as "rebuild" but doesn't
give a percentage completed. Has been going for 2 hours now.........

Cheers

Russell
