Hi,

from personal experience it depends on the device and the version of
Android running on it.  have got it running on my Android handset (unrooted)
and on my tablet (ASUS transformer - again, unrooted) - but I have colleagues with
handsets from other telcos with different firmware and their only chance is
via rooting.  not good.


Dont know if you'd have more joy using open systems such as OpenVPN - the issue
is the tunnel interface on the Android handset...unfortunately its an aspect of
the OS that Google have been slow/lax/uncaring for :-(   (should have been dealt
with by version 2.0 of the OS)
