I would check your regions for each phone (and gateway) and also available dsp resources and how they are configured, codecs that they are setup to support.

Is the external call going thru an h.323 gateway? If so, make sure it has media resources assigned in its config in CUCM.

Regards,
Bill

Hi

Please see attached, the detail CUCM IP Voice Streaming logs on both the pub and sub. Conference initiator ext 4512 dial external 9016149848XXX, then add ext 4560 to the conferene. Once ext 4560 drops out. Ext 4512 could not hear external caller anymore but external caller can hear ext 4512. The conference call could not continue.

Is it possible to post CUCM detailed traces, with the DN & external party number? You can set traces for the Cisco IP Voice Media Streaming Application service.

Hi All,

Has anyone come across a situation whereby when user A call user B internally and then call an external party on an adhoc conference. The problem is when user B drops off user A cannot hear the external party but the external can hear user A. The conference never seems to continue if one party drops internally.

Any idea why this is happening.
