If the license is just more DLUs, then you just upload it to the PUB and you're done.

If it's a version license (say for 8.x) then you have to restart the services on the entire cluster.

I don't know about CM node licenses.

Subject: [cisco-voip] CUCM 7.1 License upload

Ok, I am confused.

I have a license file to upload for additional phone license features. My confusion comes in where it says to upload the file only to the first node of the Cisco Unified Communications Manager cluster, (PUB correct?). It also says that after the file is uploaded to go to Cisco Unified Serviceability and restart the Cisco CallManager service. Under Feature Services, we don't have Cisco CallManager Service running on our publisher.

Am I looking at the wrong service to restart or am I missing something?

TIA
Mark
