Guys,

I have got a strange one.

just have moved one number to a new Q931. But since then when ever that
ext. calls out to some DDI's they fail and we get this message "sorry there
is a fault on the line"

in the debugs on the MGCP gateway

        Progress Ind i = 0x8288 - In-band info or appropriate now available

                Transfer Capability = Speech

                Transfer Mode = Circuit

                Transfer Rate = 64 kbit/s

        Channel ID i = 0xA9838C

                Exclusive, Channel 12

        Calling Party Number i = 0x0081, '52031'

        Cause i = 0x8090 - Normal call clearing

        Progress Ind i = 0x8288 - In-band info or appropriate now available

Dec 19 12:58:47.219: ISDN Se0/0/0:15 Q931: TX -> RELEASE pd = 8  callref =
0x8008

Dec 19 12:58:47.267: ISDN Se0/0/0:15 Q931: RX <- RELEASE_COMP pd = 8

Dec 19 12:58:47.399: ISDN Se0/0/0:15 Q931: RX <- DISCONNECT pd = 8 callref
= 0xAE77

        Cause i = 0x82A9 - Temporary failure

but if i use another number then it works. (both numbers/ext have the exact
features i.e. CSS/part etc)

It appears that in the PSTN when they see the pair of calling and called
they send us a rejection. Though its logged with our PSTN providers, still
I am thinking If we are able to Mask this number before it goes out on the
PSTN i.e calling number transforms into something else, I am sure then it
will ring.

can anyone help how to change a number going out will it be using
transformation mask!!!

Thanks
