Would recommend you follow the listed process for upgrading CUCM and moving
to a virtualized environment
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/virtual/servers.html#wp42985

In cases where you're building out a new cluster, I'd consider the
following:
-take DRS backup of 6x cluster
-install 6x from DRS backup on temporary server (non virtualized)
-upgrade temporary server to target version
-take DRS backup
-install target version w/ DRS backup on virtualized server
-build out remainder of virtualized cluster
