[cisco-voip] anyone recall using DickTracy tool?

I'm trying to use the DickTracy tool to fix up CSCsu08180 but I'm immediately getting the following two lines when I try to connect: 

*** Attempting Connection ... 
*** Session Ended *** 

I don't think that's normal. 

The Networking crew assures me I have complete access to the switch. 

Any thoughts?
