[cisco-voip] Unity connection Breaking up with telecommuter?

This one has me stumped.
User is Telecommuting, using IP communicator 8.6.1.and cisco anyconnect
3.0.08057. They can call internal desk phones with no breaking up or
missing words.
But if they leave a message or record a greeting, there is breaks or
missing words.
CM is 7.1.5
UC is 8.5.1ES72.14047-72
Any ideas? Where do I start troubleshooting this?
