So this is interesting, been waiting for this so trying it out on my test phone and getting this:
9:46:08a DeviceImageDownloadFailure DeviceName=SEPD0574CF627A3 IPAddress=X.X.X.X Method=3 FailureReason=2 Active=sip9971.9-2-4-19 Inactive=sip9971.9-2-2 FailedLoadId=sip9971.9-3-1-33 Server=X.X.X.X

Phone itself says just upgrade failed

I then tried it on another cluster and same thing… I have only installed the load, not the device pack. The way I am reading things the DevPack is only required if I want those features that are only contained therein. Have I missed something? I shouldn’t need to restart for a phone load install. I installed on both servers in the clusters and then restarted TFTP…

That's great Ryan. Separating them out like that will really help.

Also, for us non-partners, here's the URL without the partner directory:

For folks reading this take note of the two sections of new and changed features. We usually get lots of customers asking why they can't use a given feature because the devpack isn't out yet that enables the UCM side of the feature. Hopefully this breakdown will clarify which features will work out of the box and which you need to update UCM for.

There is also a new device pack compatibility matrix to help you see when the devpack that goes with each phone firmware will be available (or if it is). Note this hasn't caught up to the 9.3(1) releases yet.
