I experienced a lot of issues with 7.0.6 and Windows 7. Try 7.0.5 or go up to 8.6.1 and see if it makes any difference.

Subject: [cisco-voip] IP Communicator and the mute button

I have a very weird and reproducible problem.

I have one user, running IP Communicator 7.06 on windows 7 32-bit, whom presses the application’s mute button during a call. When he presses it again to unmute, ip communicator looks like it has unmuted but his voice still cannot be heard.

Has anyone else run into this?

Thanks in advance,

-Chris
