[cisco-voip] End of life / end of sale for RPS 2300?

The product came out in 2007, it seems a normal shipping lifespan is around 5-7 years or so for most routing/switching products. Usually they seem to offer 5 years of support after the EOL announcement.

I would say unless you are a high dollar/senior partner you aren't going to know too much early about an EOL announcement. And they also usually announce a new product first and there has been none of that. There is the XPS 2200 but for 3750X/3560X switches only.

Subject: [cisco-voip] End of life / end of sale for RPS 2300?

I've got an RPS 675 that's now dead. I see that the replacement is the 2300; how far in advance does Cisco determine what the end of sale / EOL date will be? (I can't find it for the RPS 2300 and I was just wondering).
