[cisco-voip] MCS-7816-I4 hard drive firmware problem question

That link works, sends you to the 3.6.6 version download. That is the
version I have, and also used 3.01 CD from before.

Of all the documents I've read, it seems the screenshots/etc are for
the other effected models and not much screenshots / what to look at
for the 7816-I4 model to verify it worked.

This is from the 3.01 FW Update Readme PDF and 3.6.6 readme (page 5 on
both docs):

7816/25/28-‐I3,7816/25/28-‐I4 and 7835/45-‐I2

o BIOS version is displayed during POST. More detailed information is
available by continuing these steps
o During boot up press the F1 key when the user sees the below screen.
o At the next screen highlight the "System Information" option and press enter.
o At the next screen highlight the "Product Data" option and press enter
o The versions of BIOS, Diagnostics (where applicable), and RSA2 (ASM)
(where applicable) will be displayed.
o For BMC version – select “Advanced Setup”from the initial BIOS Setup screen
o Select BaseBoard Management Controller( BMC) Settings
o The BMC firmware version will then be displayed at the top of the
resulting screen.
o The Array Controller versions are displayed during POST

So the above is not accurate, on the BIOS screen if you go under
"System Information" page there are no options on that page, it just
displays BIOS version and some other model / part numbers and no
firmware versions. The BIOS version is 1.4.4.

Let me visit this client and try to look at the boot up process again,
I watched it 2-3 times and went into the available options but could
not see firmware version anywhere but want to take another look after
reviewing the doc and such this morning.
