hello,
i had a chance to play with this more... tried playing with lots of options
on the voice-port but no luck.
heres my config id like to have which works but if i pickup before ring 2 i
hear what i think is the caller-id in the audio
voice-port 1/0/0
description FXS Port #1
station-id number 1001
caller-id enable
here is a video of picking up call between first and second ring with above
config
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjV9lGtOl0M
if i take out simply the "caller-id enable", it goes away but obviously the
phone attached to fxs gets no caller-id information
here is a video where you can clearly hear that it is no longer heard
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enaP58-kTp0
im kind of baffled by this and feel like im missing something obvious.....
i mean the feature works but why in the world do i hear it?
is there some way i can adjust it to not be audible or change caller-id to
be send before first ring or something like that? anything that keeps it
working but not audible would work.....
thanks for any help you can give
