[cisco-voip] tracing translations easily

If you’re using H323 as your gateway type, the DID is most likely translated to your DN before it hits call manager, not allowing you to see the dialed digit in CM traces or CDR.
If you’re using MGCP, you most likely have a translation pattern that will take the digits sent by the carrier and mask them into your DN range.
Or, your carrier may simply not be sending all 10 digits of your DID. If this is the case, I don’t think you can see the full incoming dialed DID. Some of our offices are configured to just have the last 4 or 5 digits of the DID sent in on the circuit.
Not sure if this is what you were looking for. I may have completely misunderstood the question…  ☺

anyone come up with an easy way to trace translations? we get calls to extensions through DIDs, but I only see the extension in the CDR, not the DID. I'd like to know what DID was called (if any).
