Since this is an encoding problem (requesting ascii string of 0 but receiving unicode replacement string instead) perhaps this may be of assistance...

Subject: [cisco-voip] UCCX 8 Database Dips

Hi All,

Upgrading from UCCX 7.15 to UCCX 8.5 su2  I have the external database all setup and can dip into it with no problem.   When I use DBGet, it’s giving me the value:  U"\uFFFD"  in my string.  The value I should be getting from the DB is “0”

I’m using the same external database as UCCX 7 and same db read and db get.  All steps go to the successful area, but it’s pulling that incorrect data.  Anyone see this before?

Thanks,
Tim
