[cisco-voip] Passwords on Meetme

Everything I have seen over the years involved putting Unity in the middle
to do anything like forcing an entry code. I would think Cisco does not
allow for passwords on MeetMe as a general rule as that would cut into the
revenue stream for true conferencing products like WebEx.
If you dont want Unity in the mix the best I have been able to come up with
is doing entry meeting tones as people enter and leave the conference. It
does not password protect the conference but at least lets you know someone
joined. MeetMe out of the box scares people as anyone can dial in, sit back
and just listen.
Not sure if there have been any advancements on MeetMe in 9.x though but I
doubt it.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Passwords on Meetme
Hi Folks,
Looking for a straightforward solution for setting passwords on Meetme.
I have been looking around on some postings thru Google but couldn't find
anything enoughly clear to me.
I appreciate any hand on that.
Thanks,
