Hi List,

We have a cucm 8.5 cluster of 7 servers in New zealand. I have been asked
to add another sub server to the existing cluster in another country
(Phillipines). There will be close to 200 staff in this country spread out
on few locations.

Apart from WAN pre-requistes for Clustering over WAN. We need to buy a new
server and licenses etc. Questions:

1) What would be the best hardware for this scenarion? UCS C series or MCS?
Since virtualisation is the way to go for most cases these days, which UCS
model would be the best fit for this scenario.

2) We already have spare node licences. If we go UCS then we would need
VMware licenses as well??

3) Anyother gotchas or anything someone would like to add in. I beleive
this should be simple addition of the server?

Thanks
