What version of 7.0 are they on? Only 7.0(2) can upgrade to 7.1(5).

There isn't a UCSS ordering option for 7.1 because it's end of sale.
Have you explored which features of AC your customer relies on to see if there is something in 9 that can let them get current and be supported? The legacy AC is completely end of support and 7.1 itself goes end of software maintenance in a few months.

Yes you should be able to do that upgrade w/o any license needs. Have you tried transferring the file via SFTP? If you do burn it, make sure you aren’t just copying the file to dvd but are burning the iso using an ISO burning app. See threads yesterday about 9.1 ISO for recommendations on apps.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Cisco BE 7.0 to 7.1.5 (SU6)
I have a customer who has a current UCSS contract that doesn’t want to move to 8.x due to the upgrade costs of the attendant console (they are heavy users of it). I do not see a UCSS ordering option for 7.1. I tried to download 7.1.5 (SU6) from CCO but CM says no valid upgrade exists when I load it on DVD. Has anyone done a recent upgrade to 7.1x?
Shouldn’t the 7.0 node license work on 7.1?
Thanks,
Mike
