I do not see any reason to upgrade unless you start having problems. Just make sure to test it, because it has not been officially tested here.

Subject: [cisco-voip] 2811 IOS upgrade to 15x from 12.4.T

Customer has been running latest 12.4T on MGCP 2811 voice gateways with CallManager 7.1 for several years. Really a basic install/usage case. I know the CallManager 9.1(2) Compatibility notes indicates Cisco has tested 2811s with 15.X.

Anyone running latest 12.4T with MGCP 2811s with 9.1(2)? Just thinking MGCP hasn't changed much over the years. Why upgrade those old 2811s to 15x if latest 12.4T can continue to be used. Their 2811s are in remote places and require DRAM/FLASH upgrades for IOS 15x.
