Hi,
I'm relatively new to VoIP, but have more than 10 years of experience as a
Cisco network admin. We have been running CUCM, CUC and CUP, all version
8.6, since September 2012. All is seemingly running well, so now I'm trying
to understand the few alerts I'm seeing. Here's one:
Jan 17 11:55:31 ccm3 19: : ccm: 140892: ccm3: Jan 17 2013 10:55:31.173 UTC
: %UC_-3-UNKNOWN_ALARM:HuntListExhausted:
%[HuntListName=DE-CGN-1ST-LEVEL-HELPDESK-HL][AppID=Cisco
CallManager][ClusterID=StandAloneCluster][NodeID=ccm3]:
The configuration for the hunt pilot redirects both Forward Hunt No Answer
and Forward Hunt Busy to the hunt pilot itself. The Forward Maximum Hop
Count Required Field is 12 (default). According to the documentation the
hunt should continue for up to 30 minutes. The are three DNs in the line
group attached to the hunt list.
Here's my question: under what set of circumstances is this alert triggered
given the config outlined above? What's the result for the outside caller?
Thanks,
Sebastian
