Dear All.

It’s a year or two since I last configured a FXO, I have just got a second hand FXO4 and ma having trouble getting it to play ball in my test 3800 Router.

I have tested the phone line and it works fine,

Our call manager routes fine to the test gateway but then gets the busy tone.

If I shut down the “dial-peer 99” I get the call manager message “Your Call Cannot be Completed” which confirms the right dial peer is being tried.

With the cable disconnected I still get the busy tone.

I can’t find a wiring guide ( FXO to BT jack ) to confirm the cable is right ( tried 3 ) as every weblinks I try seems to be dead!

Anybody with any bright ideas?

Config (CUT) follows.

Cheers

Rob
