You'll need to open a case with the Licensing TAC to do the migration from
6.x to 9.x so just explain that you're consolidating clusters. They should
be able to add the exported data from one cluster to the existing license
for the other. You will need both clusters on 9.1(2) however if you are
going to jump the 6.x one.

Hi Dennis, thank you.
No LDAP Sync.
CUCM DB independent from Active Directory.
Ok for the migration using Vmware from 6.1.3. to 9.1.1, I've already done
this before and I know it's working, but is a lot of work. Anyway I think
this is the right way!
What about license?

I would take the 6.1 cluster and migrated it into vmware, and upgrade it
with the jump process. 6.1(x)->6.1(5)->9.1(2). From there then I would
rename the system elements (device-pools, etc), and clean up the dial-plan
how you want it to fit in the condensed cluster. Then do you data export.
Then you should be about 95% of the way there. If you export at the 6.x
level, you will need to do lots of data manipulation to make the import 9.x
compatible. Plus this will give you sometime to set owner-ids etc.
Are you LDAP syncd?
Then you

You can start a TAC case and Cisco licensing will issue you a new license
file for the 9.1 cluster that will cover the devices from the 6.x cluster.
If both are covered with ESW/UCSS it will make the process easier.
I think you should be able to BAT the phones out from the 6.x cluster over
to the 9.1 cluster. Not sure if the version mis-match will cause any issues
though
