[cisco-voip] new 7800 series phones?

I followed up with the PM to get clarification:

1. need more gig ports
response: 7861 is mainly for vertical market like retail and healthcare, where normally no computer behind the phone. I will log your request anyway.

2. sidecar labels suboptimal - a partner opportunity?
response: This is good suggestion. Let me check if we can have some standard spare for this, otherwise we shall at least have partner to provide this or a simple format for the customer to print.

Yeah, we were thinking the same thing. Not sure why the multi-line set doesn't have gig. I was on the fence about gig ports until the other day when I had to copy a few large files across the network. Painful. I can see assistants having to do this as well.

And what's with the paper label on the built in sidecar. Do people really like those? Does Cisco at least offer a PDF or Word template that we can distribute? And waste a whole sheet of paper for? ;)

Looks like they are still being stingy on the gig ports.
