[cisco-voip] MWI on

I found the numbers in the results, but didn’t found anything in their config on Unity connection. Say it gave me ext 2000, 3000 and 4000. When I looked into those 3 users, I didn’t see any alternate extensions or anything relating to the extension who’s having the issue.

I don't understand. You said it returned three match results, however, you couldn't find the number in the results?
PS That video I linked is great. "Boom!" and "Cry me a river" are my two favorite quotes from Jeff. =)

Oups, too late! I ran the search, It gave me 3 matches and went through their config and no one sends anything to my troubled extension.

The MWI’s aren’t reachable by the phones, we had to change the CSS of the phone to turn it off.

Will try with User data dump.

Thanks.

I was just watching the training video for CUDLI and at 9:30 in the video the man himself starts talking about searching with CUDLI and explicitly says not to do it on a production environment.

Hi Sandy,
Alternate extensions are not used for MWI. There's a special section for MWI extensions. By default the MWI extension is inherited from the primary extension, but you can over ride it, or create new ones.

Did you see that you can perform a search in CUDLI?
Searching for Data
Selecting the File | “Find value in current DB tables” option allows you to enter any string and it will search every column on every row in every table in the currently loaded database for either a full or partial string match based on what you enter. As matches are found that table and row are loaded for you to view and you can select to continue searching from that point or stopping.

You should be able to just perform a search for your interesting phone number, and withing a few minutes (hopefully seconds), you should see all matches.

Hi everyone,

I have a user which doesn’t have a voicemail, the extension does not exist on Unity Connection, and the voice mail profile is set to “No voicemail” in UCM, but the MWI is on. We checked in Alternate extensions, but no one seems to use that extension.

Can someone help me with CUDLI or anything else, I think I might be able to look into maybe some notifications that another user might have put in the wrong extension, but I really don’t know which table to look into.

Thanks for your help.

Sandy.
