8.5 to 8.6 upgrade should not cause you to lose any licensing. Most likely you were running a demo license prior to upgrade. If you did lose it somehow, you should be able to upload your original SW Feature License that was installed on 8.5.

Do you have a backup of your 8.5 Publisher to restore in an isolated environment and verify if you were licensed prior to the upgrade?

Subject: [cisco-voip] 8.5 to 8.6: Missing SW Feature License

Hello,

I recently did an 8.5 to 8.6 upgrade and received a "Missing Software Feature License" alert.

Licensing team generated a temporarily license but was not able to tell me how can i permanently fix it.

Does anyone knows how can i permanently fix it?

Regards,
