[cisco-voip] CAD 7.2 to CAD 9.x upgrade

Does anybody have any experience upgrading CAD 7.2 (or prior) to CAD 9.x? If I'm reading this correctly, it looks like there's no direct upgrade path from 7.2 to 9 and that I'll have to someone get the customer to install 7.5. Is that my only option?
