[cisco-voip] CER 8.61 firewall issues - backup not working

Anyone seen issues with the built in firewall effecting traffic such as
backup and icmp operations?
CER version 8.6.1.10000-11
I wasn't able to ping the backup server or do backups to the primary SFTP
Server but could SFTP files to other devices fine.
I disabled the firewall (utils firewall ipv4 disable) and could ping and do
backups.
The firewall automatically enables after a few minutes.
Once the firewall was automatically enabled again, the ping and backup
failed.
I disabled the firewall again and it re-enabled after a few minutes and now
pings and the backup are functioning fine with the firewall enabled.
