[cisco-voip] Message Monitor in Cisco Unity Connection

Upgrading a customer from Unity 7.0 to Connection 8.6.2

They depend on Message Monitor, nearly everyone uses it. However, I can
find no process or documentation on how to configure it; and it appears
Cisco no longer supports it.

First off, why?

Second, what work around is there to get the feature back?
