Just because the system test folks don't test something doesn't make it not supported.

The actual compatibility info I'd say is at http://tools.cisco.com/ITDIT/vtgsca/VTGServlet (linked from software compatibility matrix).

At the end of the day unless the UCM version or endpoint has reached end of life (or at least end of sw maintenance) then TAC won't reject your call outright.

I'm not sure what's behind them not being on the compatibility matrix, but we've never officially removed support for any device that I can think of.  If they aren't on there they just weren't tested.
