Hi All,
NFAS Outbound call interface selection order always seemed clear to me
until today. For example, I have 5 T1's configured in a single NFAS
group. Interface 0 thru 4. Incoming calls use the b channels on
Interface 0 and work its way towards interface 4. Outbound calls use
Interface 4 and work its was towards Interface 0. I've started running
into a glare issue at one of my locations and noticed that the outbound
calls in the above scenario are using Interface 3 first then Interface 1
next which starts stepping on the incoming calls. Does outbound selection
order look at physical slot placement of the circuit rather than the
Interface # configured on NFAS?
Thanks,
Steve
