Jason,

You do not need to have IM&P in order to get line status, it does work in a similar way to CUACA with the exception that it is not as scalable (do to there not being a server to handle all of the requests) and you have to associated the devices you wish to monitor to the Application User you are using on the Client PC.

I noticed you asked a few questions on the video as well, I will send a separate email and copy in Matt so he can help you out.

Kind Regards

So the customer would need to upgrade licensing from Enhanced to Enhanced Plus for CUACS to work. I made an assumption that the new CUACS worked like the old, and that IM&P wasn't mandatory for line status. Somehow Matt Wyndhamm left that licensing Enhanced Plus cost/part out of his demo..

The operator noticed that there is no line status information in CUACS?

I was assuming a Attendant Console Standard would show if the phone was on-hook vs off-hook. The only Presence information I can find seems to be related to Jabber/IM&P

Or should CUACS 10.5 show line state information?

They couldn't keep CUBAC 9x as it was supported with CallManager 10.x. While it worked, it was unsupported. So the version change to CUACS had to happen.
