[cisco-voip] no Ringback on 7940-SCCP when calls are going over SIP

Few questions I would try to answer here:

Is CUCM negotiating Early Media successfully on these problem calls?
Do I see a StationD event for AlertingTone to the IP Phone?

CUCM should instruct the SCCP phone to play local ring back via AlertingTone event when early media cannot be negotiated. For example, if you send an INVITE with early offer but receive no SDP answer in a 180/183 response... or if your call goes out with delayed office, you receive an SDP offer in a 180/183 but PRACK is disabled.

Also, is the SIP trunk destination pointing to a CUBE device where the egress call is also SIP?
You specifically mentioned 7940's - are other phone models not experiencing this issue?

Anyone come across anything like 7940's not playing Ringback to the user when an external call is made out externally over a SIP trunk.

CUCM is V10. Firmware on the 7940's is as up to date as possible. Calls proceeded normally on CUCM 8.5 normally. Only noticed this on the move to V10.

Thanks

Nathan
