[cisco-voip] how to tell if a user has IM&P enabled?

What's the concern? That end users enabled for and actively using Jabber
will not know who in the directory is also enabled and actively using
Jabber? Isn't the offline status "good enough" for said end users to
ignore them? Or am I missing a bigger concern, or other deployment
requirement?
