[cisco-voip] Route both lines to one VMail

We use alternate extension quite a bit. The only thing I've found is that if you also use Connection as your auto-attendant, dialing the alternate extension will direct you to the primary extension. Alternate extensions will also be "auto-routed" to that mailbox when pressing the voicemail button.

If you need to maintain connectivity to the alternate extension, you can use either a call handler, or another subscriber, with the appropriate redirects configured. In this case, however, to answer the voice mail, they would have to sign-in using the target voice mail account.

It all depends on what the client needs, i.e. direct access to alternate extensions, different greetings, easy sign-in, etc.

In Unity Connections, goto the user's VM account for the first line. Under the edit menu, set an alternate extension for the voicemail account. The alternate extension is the second line on the phone. Now, use the CFxx options on the second DN to goto to voicemail.

Client has a bunch of 796x phones. The first line is an internal extension and the 2nd is their private line. He wants all Voicemail to go to the first line's voicemail box. Seems like it would be easy to do...stumped! Unity 8 and UCM 8
