[cisco-voip] IP Phones + MGCP FXS + Shared Lines

That seems to be it Bill.  Now, since I was looking for documentation to
support my theory that it's not supported, I do read that in my favor
(confirmation bias).  Does anyone else care to share their perspective on
what that passage might actually not be saying?
