You're probably better off for it. I really dislike VTP, as it seems
incredibly fragile and the wrong model for configuring this type of
information. I've seen it cause severe problems when misconfigured
(duplicate servers, etc.). In general my preference is just to manage
the Vlan and trunk configurations as part of the individual device config.
