[ednog] Single Mode GigE card for PC platform

One of our downstream schools has a need to convert a linux PC based 
firewall from copper FastE to GigE single-mode fiber, and are having a 
hard time finding a NIC card. They have come up with multi-mode. Does 
anyone have a suggestion for either fixed single-mode, or perhaps sfp 
based cards?
