[e-nsp] VMAN ethertypes

We currently have 5 Extreme DB 6808s setup to transport customer's VLANs
via VMAN tunnels.
To accomplish this it is required to change the default ethertype of the
switch from 8100 to 9100.
That works fine except when we want to trunk VLANs from an ethertype
8100 switch and terminate them on the 6808s (vs. just transporting them
to another switch). I tried creating a new "Protocol" on the 6808 and
assigning it an ethertype of 8100 but that didn't work either. A packet
sniff of the Alcatel OSR to 6808 connection identifies the difference in
ethertypes being used.
I can use untagged ports and connect the switches but the number of
ports required would be very high.
Any suggestions on how I can have both 8100 and 9100 ethertypes
supported on the same 6808?
