Hi,
You have to configure an ip@ to the MGMT VLAN (that have 1 unique port : the
management outband port) :
Configure mgmt ipaddress x.x.x.x/x
I would suggest to run a diag on your switch to verify that there is nothing
wrong with the hardware after the power failure.
Regards.

Subject: [e-nsp] Summit 400-48t Port Problems
Hello,
I have checked the archives from 2003 to now and could not find this
anywhere. Here is my problem:
I have a Extreme Summit 400-48t lost power for about 5-12 secs (UPS
failure/problem) but powered back on after power was restored and none of
the ports worked. I have an exact copy of this switch running as well and
it fired back up without a problem unlike this one.
Here are sample logs:
09/26/2007 16:11:34.23 <Erro> <EDP.ProcPDUFail> pdu received on port 2 could
not be processed, checksum error on port 2
09/25/2007 11:10:18.43 <Erro> <EDP.ProcPDUFail> pdu received on port 2 could
not be processed, checksum error on port 2
09/25/2007 10:20:02.55 <Erro> <EDP.ProcPDUFail> pdu received on port 2 could
not be processed, checksum error on port 2
09/24/2007 23:50:41.30 <Erro> <EDP.ProcPDUFail> pdu received on port 2 could
not be processed, checksum error on port 2
09/20/2007 13:43:49.85 <Erro> <EDP.ProcPDUFail
BTW I wiped the config and the time is off now so ignore that.
What do you think is wrong? How can I procure? I thought about reloading the
image but can not use the ports to do a tftp. Can some one explain also how
to configure the management port on the back to do this if possible. I am a
Cisco person not extreme but I am learning.
Thanks in advanced!!!
