[f-nsp] Egress List on 24G-A

Hi Cliff,
I have two 24G-A's. One running 2.2.4 and one running 2.2.6 (although the
config on 2.2.6 was tftp'ed from a 2.2.4 device) and get the same problem
with both. I have an older device which I will be upgrading, and it does
have the old vlan database config :(
What causes this bug? on the 2.2.4 device, I can't remove some interfaces
from vlans, is there a work around??
Thanks
Tim.

Heh, that's a bug. Yeah the 24G-A's aren't so hot. What version of
code are you running? They completely changed the way vlans are
configured in the more recent versions. The upgrade is not graceful
though, all your vlan configs are blown away and need to be rebuilt by
hand.
If you don't want to do this, you need to craft your config on a tftp
server and then copy it to startup and reload. You really should
upgrade though. There is also a pretty nasty spanning tree bug in the
older code revs.

Hello!
Just wondering if anyone knows what this means:
(config-vlan-10)#no tag ethe 1/17
Failed to remove egress list on ethernet 1/17
Thanks!
Tim.
