It's worth noting that particular LB is running 7.3, so it might be configurable in a later IOS.

Not sure about SI but other platforms have a "system-max 
config-file-size" configuration item.  "show default values" should 
include it.  Maybe you can tweak that to create more space but odds 
are that you will need to reboot *before* it takes effect...
