What is exatly happening when i create a new vlan with ve/ip ?
SSH at foundry02(config)#vlan 210 name testvlan by port
SSH at foundry02(config-vlan-210)# tagged ethe 3 to 4
added tagged port ethe 3 to 4 to port-vlan 210.
SSH at foundry02(config-vlan-210)# router-interface ve 61
SSH at foundry02(config-vlan-210)#interface ve 61
SSH at foundry02(config-vif-61)# port-name "* VLAN210 gateway *"
SSH at foundry02(config-vif-61)# ip address 192.168.134.1 255.255.255.248
Error! Maximum number of IP reached 64
SSH at foundry02(config-vif-61)# ip vrrp vrid 61
SSH at foundry02(config-vif-61-vrid-61)# owner
SSH at foundry02(config-vif-61-vrid-61)# ip-address 192.168.134.1
SSH at foundry02(config-vif-61-vrid-61)# activate
VRRP router 61 for this interface is activating
I receive the error Maximum number of IP reached 64, but It looks like the
vlan/ve are still activated ?
(and I can ping the ip 192.168.134.1 from a remote device)
But still looks like I have to search for a new device (extra maybe)
I can keep the servers which need loadbalancing on the serveriron.
So what about the fastiron (FES12GCF) same limitation ?
Thnx,
Stephan
