Hi all,

Thanks for your input.

I already raised a ticket before submitting this to the mailing-list. I thought someone else had the same experience.

Yes, I already upgraded to 11.0.00a and it still gives me the "reload symptoms".

For now, I will keep in touch with brocade themselves. I will share the solution to this mailing-list once this has been solved.

You might want to check release 11.0.00a - you are running at 11.0.00 which is the initial 11 release.
Raise a ticket with Brocade/Foundry in case you do need to find the crash reason.

Hi all,

Sorry to bother you again.

Yesterday I have discovered that our WSM6-2 module reloads itself out of nothing. It happens several times actually. The last log message I could get is as follows:

telnet at SLB-WEST(config)#==================================================
WSM MODULE (1) App CPU 0 MB SHM, 2 Application Processors
CPU 1 in state of UNKNOWN
CPU 2 in state of WSM_STATE_RUNNING
WARN: WSM module App CPU 1 at slot 1 rebooted, state=00000000
(35309462)(1)WSM crash
WARN: wsm App CPU 1 at slot 1 crashed(0)
WARN: bring down all App CPU at slot 1 and restart them
Please re-insert Xenpak in port 3/1
WSR module SCPUs at slot 1 are all up and running
All WSR Modules Are Up (1)

We currently have two ServerIrons which have the symptoms. The only difference between the two is that the other one does not show the line "Please re-insert Xenpak in port 3/1" before its crash.

Both hardware are running firmware version 11. Does anyone have similar issue?

Looking forward to hearing from any of you.
