[f-nsp] Telnet Username Limited to 8 Characters

I have a Foundry Networks EdgeIron 24G1X10G which only allows 8
characters in the username.  As life would have it, of course, I have
a user with a 9 character username.  Anyone know how I can extend this
limitation? I have been unable to find anything from Foundry.
