[f-nsp] Upgrading B8GMR3 from very old code

I'm using 08.0.01pT53 on IronCore B8GMR3 in BigIron 15000 and BigIron 8000
and doesn't seem any worse off than 7.x. It added "dual mode" ports which I
need for VOIP vlan. I experienced some ARP cache corruption on our Cisco
ASA5550 firewall from the DMZ vlan so I moved the vlan to a separate switch
and the problem stopped.
I did go through recommended upgrade steps for the versions: upgrade to
7.8.03e. 7.6.05 boot code, 7.6.01b, 7.8.03e
and get release notes for 7.8.03e.
