You can try:
lp boot system mp primary
then
power-off lp primary [slot #]
power-on lp primary [slot#]
If that doesn't work, you may want to try loading the compatible software train onto the interactive card, so it matches the management module.

We didn't physically remove the module yet (it's 150KM away) so i hoped
there was a different way of doing it.
The boot procedure on the LP is pretty non-explanatory :
telnet at r#lp boot system mp pri 2
telnet at r#rconsole 2
Remote connection to LP slot 2 established
Press CTRL-X or type 'exit' to disconnect it
NetIron XMR/MLX Boot Monitor Version 3.5.00e
Enter 'b' to stop at boot monitor
sent IPC_MSGTYPE_REBOOT to slot 16 (my_slot = 1, ipc_post_rx32_mode = 0)
received IPC_MSGTYPE_REBOOT_ACK from fid d020
REV B LP
get_moass = cf 207 20
ipc_sedule_type: board_clnd_card_boot: module_type = 20
REV B LP
get_module_type: board_class = cf 207 20
PPCR type = 2, xtm_arg = 1, xpp_arg = 0, pbif_arg = 0, xgmac_arg = 0,
hv_cam_type = ff, hv_value = 0
sent IPC_MSGTYPE_LP_CARD_BOOT to slot 32
Received IPC_MSGTYPE_MP_CARD_BOOT_INFO
g_bp_board_class_val = 0x86, g_rx16_backplane_type = 255
BOOT INFO: boot interactively
REV B LP
get_module_type: board_class = cf 207 20
REV B LP
get_module_type: board_class = cf 207 20
PPCR type = 2, xtm_arg = 1, xpp_arg = 0, pbif_arg = 0, xbridge_arg = 0,
xgmac_arg = 0, hv_cam_type = ff, hv_value = 0
sent IPC_MSGTYPE_LP_CARD_SW_LOADED (failed) to slot 32
So i think we have to physically eject the module :(

Remco
