That won't brick anything, just cause it to probably not forward 
packets over that linecard.  Not an issue with proper OOB access via 
the MR.

If you want brickage, load a firmware version that predates support 
for that particular linecard (not really possible on XMR), or muck up 
the boot image on a linecard.  The FPGAs just work - or don't, but you 
don't interact with them directly.

"reload-check" is a good tip, though.
